About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will gain professional experience by delivering care to patients and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations. This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Lead patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and reaching for items.
- Complete all required training and maintain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or the process of obtaining one.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.

- Location: Middle Village, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.75 to $25.25 per hour.
