About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy environment. You will help manage patient care programs, maintain inventory, and ensure that our pharmacy operations meet all safety and regulatory standards. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Kennebunk, Maine.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and assist with managing chronic or specialty conditions.
- Handle inventory and workflow management tasks.
- Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance within the pharmacy.
- Foster a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $42.00 per hour.
