About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your academic learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap, including Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) and time spent with district leadership. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist while supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Complete a structured training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Provide caring service to patients, showing empathy and genuine care during interactions.
- Notice and understand patient reactions to provide appropriate responses.
- Follow all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain compliance with company policies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into, or active enrollment in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.
- Proficiency in confirming prescription information and label accuracy.
- Ability to use math to solve problems, such as calculating dosage or supply.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
