About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients in a retail setting. This role focuses on maintaining a safe work environment and supporting the pharmacy team. You will manage patient care programs and interact directly with customers and colleagues.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage and support patient care programs.
- Maintain a safe and efficient retail pharmacy environment.
- Show empathy and compassion to patients, caregivers, and teammates.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Assist with tasks including inventory management, workflow, and customer service.
- Strive to provide immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain a regular schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and remain upright for extended periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
