About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap that covers pharmacy operations. This role is designed to prepare you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist while you support the pharmacy team in delivering patient care.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly.
- Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to help manage and improve patient health.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify prescription details.
- Complete basic inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over time.
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
