About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations. This role focuses on preparing you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist by immersing you in store, district, and regional activities.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care to contribute to positive patient experiences.
- Support immunizations by preparing and administering vaccines where permitted by law.
- Deliver additional patient health care services as allowed by state regulations.
- Maintain pharmacy workflow procedures at workstations including production, pick-up, and drop-off.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure as required by state regulations.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
- Ability to pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
