About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients. You will assist with patient safety, quality assurance, and inventory management while contributing to a team environment. This is a part-time position focused on professional growth and gaining experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy work environment.
- Deliver care to patients and manage patient care programs.
- Align team members around our purpose of promoting health.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
- Perform tasks such as scanning, bagging, and moving items.
- Communicate information and instructions to customers and colleagues.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
