About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. This role focuses on patient care, safety, and workflow efficiency. You will engage with patients and colleagues to maintain a positive team environment while gaining professional experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Lead with heart by showing empathy and compassion to patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Foster a team culture that values energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and daily workflow processes.
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment that meets regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Physical ability to lift, scan, and bag items, as well as remain upright for extended periods.
- Capacity to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
