About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients. You will assist in maintaining a safe and effective pharmacy environment while gaining professional experience in a retail setting.
What you'll do#
- Support patient safety and pharmacy professional practice.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Provide customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Once licensed, work toward providing patient immunizations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

- Location: Warwick, Rhode Island.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.50 to $42.00 per hour.
