About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position designed for students currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program. You will bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice under the guidance of a preceptor. This role involves rotating through various pharmacy operations to develop clinical skills and prepare for future responsibilities as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled accurately.
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures at every workstation.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care during patient interactions.
- Contribute to a high-performing team and embrace a growth mindset.
- Support immunization services where permitted by law and training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.
- Strong attention and focus to complete tasks accurately over time.
