About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to deliver patient care under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role focuses on maintaining a safe retail pharmacy environment while supporting patients on their path to better health. You will help manage patient care programs and contribute to a team culture that values caring and enthusiasm.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, colleagues, and caregivers.

- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and using finger dexterity for typing or scanning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

- Location: Johnston, Rhode Island.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $42.00 per hour.
