About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist by providing an overview of store, district, and regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Complete a training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences.
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by providing empathetic and caring service.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Support immunization services where permitted by law and supported by training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Capability to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.
- Proficiency in using math to solve problems, such as calculating medication dosages.

- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
