About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This program includes Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) designed to show you how a pharmacy team operates at the store, district, and regional levels. You will gain hands-on experience while preparing for future responsibilities as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Follow company SOPs at each workstation to help manage and improve patient health.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care during interactions.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences.
- Deliver additional patient health care services, such as immunizations, if you are certified.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
- Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs.
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.

- Compensation: Paid position with a pay range of $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
