About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective pharmacy environment. You will assist the team in delivering patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and ensuring quality standards are met. This is a part-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Support patient safety and pharmacy professional practice.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Provide customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Complete required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods, and using fine motor skills for typing and scanning.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Location: Wesley Chapel, North Carolina.
- Pay: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- Status: Part-time, paid internship.
- Term: Rolling.
