About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe, effective work environment while focusing on patient care, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. This role is designed for students who want to apply their pharmacy education in a practical setting.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to every patient.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment.
- Perform tasks such as inventory management, workflow organization, and customer service.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.

- Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $42.00 per hour.
