About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment and delivering care to patients. This role involves managing patient care programs and supporting the pharmacy team in providing quality service.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients while showing empathy and compassion.
- Manage patient care programs and adopt new clinical practices.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy and caring.
- Align team members with the company purpose.
- Perform pharmacy tasks including inventory management, workflow organization, and quality assurance.
- Assist with immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
