About the role#
The Business Internship at Covestro offers exposure to sales, marketing, product management, and business support. You will work alongside experienced commercial professionals at our headquarters to see how we identify customer needs and manage product flow. This program provides practical experience and the potential opportunity to visit a plant or warehouse to observe our operations.
What you'll do#
- Support projects that identify customer needs and opportunities in industries like automotive, construction, and furniture.
- Assist with product analysis and planning by collaborating with teams in sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and controlling.
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency and generate insights for business teams.
- Interface with colleagues across different regions and functions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Completion of your freshman year.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to build working relationships with diverse groups of people.
- Proactive approach to project coordination and technical problem-solving.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (approximately 12 weeks starting mid-May).
