About the role#
As a Supply Chain intern, you will gain exposure to market analysis, sourcing, contracting, material management, and logistics. You will be assigned specific projects that provide hands-on experience in procurement and supplier relations. Interns participate in site-wide activities, including seminars, field trips, and networking opportunities with senior management. You will receive guidance from a supervisor and mentor throughout the program, culminating in a final presentation of your work and findings.
What you'll do#
- Provide support in sourcing and contracting through market analysis, bidding, and negotiations.
- Perform data analysis and prepare dashboards to track supplier performance, category spend, and contract metrics.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal partners to improve purchasing processes and eCommerce execution.
- Evaluate material management and logistics performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Utilize market research, financial statements, and benchmarking to interpret market conditions and evaluate supplier performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of ten continuous weeks for the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
