About the role#
We are seeking a Student Intern to support supply chain operations in Arlington, South Dakota. This role focuses on inventory management, materials coordination, and data integrity. You will gain hands-on experience with inventory systems, material movements, and warehouse processes while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support the management of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Execute inventory transactions and physical material movements within SAP.
- Assist with inventory counts for operating and critical spare parts.
- Respond to inquiries from field personnel and support data clean-up activities.
- Support warehouse management and inventory control tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Asset Recovery, Logistics, Inventory Management, Master Data, and Procurement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Supply Chain or related degree program.
- Completion of at least one academic term before May 2027.
- Intent to return to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Experience using SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Experience with inventory data, reporting, or data quality activities.
- Exposure to procurement, logistics, or supply chain business processes.
- A strong safety mindset in professional and personal settings.
- Ability to analyze information, deal with ambiguity, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Location: Arlington, South Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
- Requirements: Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing. Background screening is required. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States without restrictions. This position is eligible for the student relocation assistance program.
