About the role#
The Commercial Intern program provides exposure to the global commodity marketing and trading portfolio at ConocoPhillips. Interns learn how the Commercial organization contributes to the company value proposition by working alongside regional business units to market equity production and generate value from third-party trading. This position includes a Commercial orientation, project-based work, and direct interaction with the Commercial management team.
What you'll do#
- Interact with front office personnel to gain exposure to energy markets.
- Complete an assigned project and present your findings to the team.
- Collaborate with the Commercial management team.
- Receive regular mentorship and guidance from an assigned supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of ten continuous weeks for the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without company sponsorship.
