About the role#
As an Environmental Intern at Coeur Mining, you will gain hands-on experience by working on real projects within our operations. This role provides a broad look at the mining sector and how we manage environmental responsibilities in the field.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of mining projects.
- Gain exposure to various aspects of daily mining operations.
- Collaborate with other interns to identify an area for company improvement.
- Create and deliver a final presentation on your project to company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Strong academic performance and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to follow all safety procedures to ensure safe production.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including significant time spent outdoors.
- Physical ability to walk on slopes and uneven ground daily.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
