About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience within the mining sector. You will gain exposure to various aspects of mining operations and contribute to projects at the Coeur Wharf site. As part of the program, you will collaborate with other interns to identify a company area for improvement and prepare a group presentation for company leaders.
What you'll do#
- Participate in mining operations and project development.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a group project.
- Present your findings and recommendations to company leadership.
- Follow all safety procedures and production protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or master's degree program.
- Strong academic performance in relevant coursework.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in all conditions and environments, including significant time outdoors.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to walk on slopes and uneven ground daily.
