About the role#
This summer internship focuses on assessing and improving corporate environmental and sustainability reporting at Bonnell Aluminum. You will help streamline data collection methods and improve how the company responds to customer requests for environmental product declarations. You will also assist in drafting sustainability policies and present your work to company leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll do#
- Learn about current trends in CSR and ESG reporting, including Life Cycle Assessments and carbon emissions tracking.
- Collaborate with different business areas to gather data and ensure its accuracy.
- Research how other companies handle LCA and EPD reporting.
- Use company data to generate environmental product declarations and calculate carbon footprints.
- Design and update content for internal and external websites.
- Draft sustainability policies and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a university student in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of sustainability topics like carbon footprints and life cycle assessments.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly to senior leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Authorization to work in the United States.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Newnan, Georgia.
- The term is for Summer 2026.
