About the role#
ClearPath offers a paid internship program for the Fall 2026 semester. Interns join one of our teams, such as Policy, Government Affairs, or Operations, based on their career goals. You will gain exposure to Capitol Hill, the Administration, and our network of industry stakeholders. This role is designed to supplement your academic background with real-world experience in clean energy technology and policy.
What you'll do#
- Execute research and analysis to identify needs and develop solutions.
- Support the creation of fact sheets, newsletters, op-eds, and educational materials.
- Attend congressional hearings on energy and prepare briefings for the team.
- Coordinate and attend events and briefings to help drive messaging.
- Educate target audiences and key stakeholders on ClearPath priorities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year university program. Preferred majors include Communications, Public Health, Political Science, History, Economics, and Environmental Engineering.
- Interest in Capitol Hill operations, political processes, policy, or clean energy technologies.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience analyzing and interpreting data.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
