About the role#
ClearPath is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 semester to join the Policy, Government Affairs, or Operations teams. This role offers exposure to Capitol Hill, the Administration, and key industry stakeholders. Interns will supplement their academic background with real-world experience, including opportunities to rotate across departments and work on projects related to clean energy technology portfolios.
What you'll do#
- Execute research and analysis activities to identify needs and develop approaches to address them.
- Support the production of fact sheets, newsletters, op-eds, and educational materials.
- Attend congressional hearings on energy and prepare briefings for the team.
- Coordinate and attend events, hearings, and briefings to drive messaging.
- Educate target audiences and key stakeholders on ClearPath priorities.
- Participate in meetings, synthesize notes, and facilitate action items.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year university working toward a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Health, Political Science, History, Economics, or Environmental Engineering.
- Interest in Capitol Hill operations, political processes, policy, or clean energy technologies.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional and personal commitment to the mission and values of ClearPath.

- Location: Washington, District of Columbia (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 semester.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: Interns are not eligible for benefits.
