About the role#
The AI Innovation Fellow will help accelerate the use of AI and emerging technologies within the federal government. This role is part of the ClearPath Conservative Leadership Program, which places professionals in high-impact government roles. You will work on-site in Washington, DC, to build and deploy systems that modernize federal processes. This is a full-time, one-year placement.
What you'll do#
- Design and build AI-enabled systems to streamline federal processes.
- Serve as an advisor on AI to federal officials and Administration partners.
- Lead the development, testing, and deployment of AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Partner with external consultants and technologists to implement modern solutions.
- Translate Administration AI goals into operational systems.
- Apply project management discipline to initiatives by setting milestones and managing deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Political Science, or Environmental Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in technology development.
- Experience with modern technology systems, including AI tools.
- Proven ability to lead projects from start to finish.
- Experience building systems or processes from the ground up.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC, Monday through Friday.
