About the role#
This internship with the VisionFund Strategy Team offers a chance to support the microfinance arm of World Vision. You will work within the Impact team to measure how financial products affect communities. This role involves analyzing data to help management make informed decisions and sharing the impact of VisionFund’s work.
What you'll do#
- Support the implementation of surveys that measure the impact of financial products.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights.
- Enhance existing dashboards and design new ones to support management.
- Perform rigorous data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct comparative analysis between internal impact data and external financial inclusion data.
- Provide support on integrating impact and operational data.
- Research current trends and best practices in financial inclusion.
- Ensure timely feedback loops to relevant stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate (within 2 years) from a graduate program in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar data analytics software.
- Ability to create clear, impactful charts and presentations.
- Experience conducting thorough online research.
- Commitment to the goals and mission of World Vision.
- Willingness to adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
- Ability to commit to at least 30 hours per week.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and a valid U.S. Social Security Number.
- Willingness to use your own electronic devices and allow the installation of endpoint security software.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 25 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Remote within the United States.
- Commitment: Full-time (30-40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship with a monthly stipend of $800.
