About the role#
This is a paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with the Empire Center for Public Policy, a state-based think tank. The role is remote and open to undergraduate, graduate, and law students, as well as recent graduates.
What you'll do#
- Partner with researchers to support their work.
- Create data analysis and visualizations for research projects.
- Focus on policy areas including taxes, government transparency, education, energy, and healthcare.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Tableau or similar data visualization software.
- A proven record of working independently on projects.
- Extremely strong attention to detail.
