About the role#
The Hackathons Intern will support the Foundation for Economic Education by helping to design and execute educational events for students aged 11 to 26. You will assist the Student Engagement team in creating immersive experiences that introduce participants to the principles of a free society.
What you'll do#
- Manage logistics for virtual and in-person programs, including schedules, speaker selection, and event day operations.
- Create registration pages, logistics packets, Zoom links, and calendar invites.
- Communicate directly with event participants via email.
- Maintain accurate data and reporting within Salesforce.
- Track and report on key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with your supervisor on new projects and program initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in AI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities at once.
- High attention to detail.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to improving programs.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to the mission and principles of the Foundation for Economic Education.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is remote and based in Georgia.
- The term for this position is Winter 2027.
