About the role#
The Strategic Research intern joins the Strategic Research team to produce social science research that supports mission-driven goals. This role involves coordinating with litigation, legal policy, constitutional scholarship, and communications teams to advance individual liberty. This is a part-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Communicate with public officials to obtain public records.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data using Microsoft Excel, R, Python, GIS, or Stata.
- Conduct literature reviews on topics such as regulatory reform, housing supply, property rights, and coastal land rights.
- Develop internal data for litigation, communications, or legal policy campaigns.
- Write blog posts, op-eds, or one-pagers on relevant topics.
What you'll need#
- Status as a college junior, senior, graduate student, or recent graduate.
- An inquisitive, creative, and self-motivated approach.
- Knowledge of the principles of liberty.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Effective problem solving skills.

- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work modality: Remote (with the option to work from offices in Arlington, Virginia; Sacramento, California; or Palm Beach Gardens, Florida).
