About the role#
The Internal Audit Summer Internship is a 10 to 12 week program based in Johnston, Rhode Island. It is designed for students who want to develop foundational audit skills and gain insight into the operations of a large financial institution. You will work with an audit team focused on managing key risks across the bank. This position is full-time and begins on June 1, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Plan, execute, and wrap up audit activities, including continuous monitoring of internal controls.
- Validate corrective actions for issues raised by the Internal Audit team.
- Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
- Present findings to audit team members and business line partners.
- Assist with the creation of audit reports that summarize scope, issues, and results.
- Participate in professional development workshops, a leadership speaker series, and volunteer opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date of May 2028.
- All majors are welcome to apply.
- A minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Permanent work authorization in the United States. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
- Ability to complete a video interview assessment within four days of receiving the link.
