About the role#
Bridgewater Bank is seeking an Accounting Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This full-time, paid internship places you within the Corporate Accounting team. You will gain exposure to banking operations while applying your academic knowledge to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with employees on various initiatives.
- Attend departmental meetings to observe strategic decision-making.
- Lead individual projects and present your findings to the Intern Cohort and leadership teams.
- Assist with accounts payable tasks, including vendor maintenance, set-up, and invoice processing.
- Support the month-end close process and perform general ledger analysis.
- Complete daily accounting tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Capability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Reliability, accountability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Location: St Louis Park, Minnesota.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: May 25, 2027, to August 20, 2027.
- Compensation: $22 per hour.
- Benefits: Two paid holidays and PTO accrued in compliance with Minnesota law.
