About the role#
Bridgewater Bank is seeking an Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This full-time, on-site role provides exposure to banking operations, including payment risk, products, and deposit operations. You will support the department through analytical work, project implementation, and processing tasks.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytical and processing support across the Operations department.
- Collaborate with employees on initiatives and attend meetings to observe strategic decision-making.
- Lead individual projects and present your findings to the intern cohort and leadership teams.
- Assist with product implementations, upgrades, and specification changes.
- Analyze data related to Treasury Management products and client activity.
- Gather and review transaction volumes and trends for Wire, ACH, Mobile Capture, and Remote Deposit Capture.
- Shadow various areas of the department to understand banking functionality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in a 4-year bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Confidence in delivering presentations to various audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated reliability and accountability.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams.
