About the role#
The Commercial Summer Internship Program provides exposure to commercial banking through project-based assignments, mentorship, and team collaboration. You will work alongside Portfolio Managers, Credit Analysts, and Relationship Managers to gain hands-on experience with live transactions and client interactions. High-performing interns may receive early consideration for full-time opportunities at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Support loan underwriting and portfolio monitoring.
- Assist with business development efforts for commercial banking clients.
- Conduct financial and credit analysis.
- Prepare financial models and credit approval materials.
- Monitor client reporting and covenant compliance.
- Perform industry and market research.
- Participate in client meetings, team discussions, and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with a graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, with 3.5 preferred. Please include your GPA on your resume.
- Coursework or experience in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills.
- You must be a U.S. resident with permanent authorization to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available.
- Ability to complete a video interview assessment within 4 days of receiving the link.
