About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience working alongside drilling and completions engineers. Interns contribute to meaningful projects that support core operations and gain exposure to the company's safety and technology culture. Depending on the assignment, you may spend time in an office environment, at a drilling or well work-over rig, or within a Decision Support Center.
What you'll do#
- Participate in optimization studies and project look-back reviews.
- Assist in well design reviews and tool case studies.
- Engage in safety and environmental performance studies.
- Conduct contractor analyses.
- Build professional relationships and explore career opportunities within the industry.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Demonstrated skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work on-site as required.
- Note that this position may require routine driving.

- Locations: Houston, Texas; Bakersfield, California; Greeley, Colorado; Midland, Texas; and Covington, Louisiana.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with an anticipated pay range of $31.75 per hour to $9,200 per month, determined by discipline, degree level, and academic year.
