About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026. You will be assigned a civil engineering mentor and work on one or more projects to support operating facilities. This role provides an opportunity to apply technical engineering knowledge and project management skills in a professional environment. Top-performing interns may be considered for a return internship or a full-time position upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Support operating facilities through the application of technical engineering knowledge.
- Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
- Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
- Utilize digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in civil engineering.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
