About the role#
This internship provides students with hands-on experience in the energy industry. You will be assigned a civil engineering mentor and work on specific projects to support operating facilities. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2026. Interns who perform well may be considered for return internships or full-time roles upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical engineering knowledge to support facility operations.
- Optimize facilities to ensure safe and reliable performance.
- Provide technical engineering support for projects and turnarounds.
- Use data analytics and digitalization to improve safety and process operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in civil engineering.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
