About the role#
This internship provides students with the opportunity to apply technical engineering knowledge to support operating facilities. Interns are assigned a dedicated civil engineering mentor and work on specific projects to gain hands-on experience in project management and facility operations. This is a full-time, paid summer 2026 position.
What you'll do#
- Support operating facilities through the application of technical engineering knowledge.
- Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
- Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
- Utilize digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Civil Engineering.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
