About the role#
The Supply & Trading (S&T) TRIP Internship Program connects students from the Texas A&M Trading, Risk and Investment program to commercial roles at Chevron. As an intern, you will work directly on trading floors alongside experienced Traders, Operators, Schedulers, and Analysts. This program offers a look into how Chevron manages commodity markets and the crude-to-customer value chain. You will gain exposure to commercial activities while building professional relationships with senior leaders and other business teams.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in commodity commercial activities across refined products, crude, renewables, carbon, natural gas, and NGLs.
- Conduct Risk Management and Credit analysis.
- Perform Downstream Value Chain Optimization and strategy analysis.
- Participate in logistics operations including marine, pipeline, rail, and truck shipping.
- Engage in training opportunities, company events, and networking sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an accepted participant in the Texas A&M Trading, Risk and Investment program.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in the energy industry.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization is required.

- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly range of $22.50 to $27.69.
