About the role#
The Supply & Trading (S&T) TAMU TRIP Internship is a program designed for students in the Texas A&M Trading, Risk and Investment program. Interns gain exposure to commodity commercial activities while working alongside experienced traders, operators, and analysts. This role serves as an entry point for understanding the commercial value chain and provides opportunities to build professional relationships with senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in commodity commercial activities across crude, refined products, natural gas, and renewables.
- Work directly on trading floors alongside experienced Traders, Operators, Schedulers, and Analysts.
- Conduct Risk Management and Credit analysis.
- Participate in company training opportunities and professional networking events.
- Perform analyses related to shipping operations, demurrage, and value chain optimization.
What you'll need#
- Must be an accepted full-time enrolled participant of the Texas A&M Trading, Risk and Investment program.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Outstanding leadership potential and communication skills.
- Strong work ethics and interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrated passion for the energy industry.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is not available).
