About the role#
Corporate Affairs interns help manage social, political, and reputational risks while engaging the workforce to advance business goals. You will work within either the Communications or Policy and Government Affairs teams to support strategic advocacy and brand management.
What you'll do#
- Create communications for external and internal audiences.
- Work on projects involving media relations, employee and executive communications, social media, community partnerships, and brand management.
- Analyze policy and regulatory issues in countries where Chevron operates.
- Support advocacy initiatives before government, trade, and third-party organizations.
- Track and report on U.S. and foreign policy issues in specific regions.
- Prepare responses to outside inquiries regarding company positions.
- Attend briefings and congressional hearings on foreign and domestic policy, legislative, or regulatory matters.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior, rising senior, or graduate student.
- You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Political Science, International Relations, or Business Administration.
- You can demonstrate The Chevron Way.
- You hold permanent U.S. work authorization.
