About the role#
Chevron Shipping Company is seeking interns to provide marine engineering and naval architecture services. This role involves working on marine projects that span from concept selection to operation for tanker vessels and offshore production facilities. You will engage with team members to support a fleet of trading tankers, LNG carriers, and various floating offshore assets.
What you'll do#
- Provide marine engineering and naval architecture services for LNG carriers, crude oil carriers, and product carriers.
- Support floating offshore projects including FPSOs, spars, TLPs, and semi-submersibles.
- Collaborate with major project members on the design, construction, and operation of marine assets.
What you'll need#
- B.S. or M.S. in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a closely related discipline such as Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
- 0 to 5 years of industry experience.
- Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
Location & details#
- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Rolling term.
- Compensation: $27.30 to $40.00 per hour, depending on degree level and academic year.
