About the role#
The Supply Chain Management Development Program (SCMDP) Intern role provides hands-on experience within Chevron's global supply chain operations. This program is designed to develop critical skills through exposure to key business initiatives, data analysis, and digital solutions. Interns will engage with leadership, senior managers, and program alumni while contributing to projects that support broader supply chain objectives.
What you'll do#
- Gain an understanding of Chevron's business, culture, and supply chain functions.
- Contribute to initiatives involving market research, data analysis, and process improvement.
- Participate in the development and deployment of digital solutions to improve efficiency and support decision making.
- Work on assignments that may span category management, strategic sourcing, logistics, and inventory management.
- Interact frequently with leadership and current program members to build professional competencies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA or Master's program with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, or Economics.
- Prior internship or relevant work experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and connect analyses to broader business objectives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Geographically mobile.
- Permanent US work authorization (sponsorship is not provided).
