2026-2027 Petroleum Engineer Full Time (Previous Intern)

About the role#

This full-time Petroleum Engineer position is designed for individuals who have completed a previous internship with the company. Engineers join multi-disciplinary teams to work on asset development planning, production operations, reserves management, and capital projects. You will participate in a competency-based development program that includes technical assignments, comprehensive training, and mentorship to help build your career in upstream operations or the Subsurface Center of Excellence.

What you'll need#

• Completion of the final year of a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Previous experience in an integrated oil or international service company intern program.
• For the Subsurface Center of Excellence, candidates must be completing the final year of a Master’s or Doctorate program.
• Ability to drive on a routine basis if required by the specific assignment.

• Locations: Houston, Texas; Covington, Louisiana; and Midland, Texas.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Salary Range: $118,000 – $138,000 annually, determined by degree level and discipline.
