About the role#
Chevron is seeking Petroleum Engineer Interns for the Summer 2026 term. Interns join multi-disciplinary teams working alongside geologists, data scientists, and facility engineers to support energy operations. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Develop technical skills through production and reservoir engineering assignments.
- Participate in asset development planning, production operations, and capital project development.
- Contribute value to the company by completing assigned projects.
- Work with an assigned mentor to receive project guidance and professional support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Previous experience in an integrated oil or international service company internship program.
- Ability to drive on a routine basis as required by the role.
- Demonstrated skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
