About the role#
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is hiring a Supply Chain Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time internship offered in a hybrid work format. You will work with our Supply Chain and Logistics department based in either Delaware or Florida.
What you'll do#
- Analyze supply chain data and prepare reports on performance metrics like inventory turns, fill rates, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to track orders and resolve supply issues.
- Maintain and update supply chain databases, dashboards, and ERP system records.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Track supplier performance metrics and assist in preparing supplier scorecards.
- Perform data analysis using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools to support business decisions.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
