About the role#
This internship provides practical experience within the Technical Operations team at FOX News Media. You will participate in real-world projects and gain exposure to the daily functions of a major news network. This is a part-time, paid position based on-site in Washington, DC.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside teams in Control Room and Studio Operations.
- Gain experience in transmission, lighting, and editing workflows.
- Learn to operate prompter systems and software.
- Assist with studio setup and other technical studio positions.
- Participate in professional development activities and company-led master classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- A strong academic record.
- Availability for the full program duration from February 8, 2027, to April 16, 2027.
- Ability to work 16 to 24 hours per week.
- Knowledge of current events and business news.
- Access to your own housing and transportation to the office.
