About the role#
As a Project Procurement intern, you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries. You will work from the bid phase and component design through to manufacturing and delivery. You will report to the Project Procurement Manager at our Cranberry facility.
What you'll do#
- Help with Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations.
- Support the completion of NDA and PIA negotiations.
- Assist in creating Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages.
- Schedule and support Supplier Design Proposal and Compliance Matrix review meetings.
- Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates to support design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
- Coordinate Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.
- Work with the project management team and Supplier Quality support organizations.
- Support the Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution.
- Execute required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points.
- Complete the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) to support shipment.
- Archive the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) in PRIME.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, supply chain management, or a similar field.
- You have completed your Sophomore year of college.

- Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Compensation: The hourly rate is estimated at $23.00 to $26.30 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
