About the role#
Haworth is hiring a Material Planning - Purchasing & Procurement Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based at our corporate headquarters in Holland, Michigan. You will join a cohort of interns for a 12-week program that combines project work with professional development. You will also attend the NeoCon industry event to observe current trends and innovations.
What you'll do#
- Support purchasing and procurement projects.
- Assist with customer service-related tasks.
- Attend workshops focused on networking, public speaking, and AI tools.
- Connect with mentors across the business.
- Work on real projects within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
- Proficiency with personal computers, keyboard skills, and spreadsheet applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- A desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
- Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 2.95 or higher, experience with SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, or AI tools, and previous work or extra-curricular experience.
