About the role#
The Creative Services Intern supports the development and execution of communication and branding initiatives. You will work on projects that engage employees, customers, and community stakeholders. This role provides hands-on experience in design, project coordination, and communications across various platforms.
What you'll do#
- Assist with graphic design projects, including presentations, digital assets, and print materials, while ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Create visuals for internal and external communications like newsletters, social media, and promotional campaigns.
- Support data visualization projects by designing charts, infographics, and presentations that simplify complex information.
- Help coordinate projects with internal teams and external vendors while tracking timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain organized files of design projects and final artwork.
- Contribute to communication efforts during storm events or other emergencies by developing timely visual materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- An interest in communications, design, and branding.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is hybrid and requires being within a commutable distance to Dover or Newark, Delaware.
