About the role#
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is hiring a Regulatory Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position offers a hybrid and remote work arrangement for students based near West Palm Beach, Florida, or Dover, Delaware.
What you'll do#
- Assist in preparing special filings, recurring financial reports, and petitions for regulatory bodies such as the FPSC.
- Help gather and organize information for regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with internal Regulatory staff and outside parties to provide necessary information.
- Support the preparation of FPSC customer communications.
- Work on regulatory special projects.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Manager of Regulatory Affairs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or graduate program in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong writing skills.
- A high level of initiative.
