About the role#
As an Accounting Intern, you will join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work on projects that support our finance team's goals. Depending on your interests and qualifications, we will place you with a specific team, such as General Accounting, Derivatives, Cash Applications, Technical Accounting, Fixed Assets, Retail Accounting, or Settlements.
What you'll do#
- Manage assigned projects and support team members.
- Improve the quality and flow of information within the department.
- Build departmental culture and promote the use of new tools and processes.
- Gather data to support reporting needs.
- Develop and present regular reports, including illustrations and graphics, to explain accounting initiatives.
- Recommend and design solutions to meet departmental needs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Advanced computer skills, specifically with MS Office products.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to staff at all levels.
- A consultative approach to problem-solving and a desire to learn.
- Ability to manage your time effectively across different tasks.
- High level of integrity and a history of success.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle ambiguity.
- Willingness to take ownership of your decisions.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Irving, Texas.
- The term is Summer 2027.
