About the role#
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is hiring a Tax Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position based on-site. You will work with the tax team to support reporting, compliance, and research tasks.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting.
- Research tax laws and regulations specific to the utility sector.
- Organize tax records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Work with other departments to collect financial data and verify accuracy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.

- This internship is located in Dover, Delaware, Jacksonville, Florida, or West Palm Beach, Florida.
- This is an on-site, part-time role for Summer 2027.
