Student Employee - Sports Information

About the role#

Chatham University is seeking a Student Employee for the Sports Information department. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in athletic event operations. Training is provided for all technical tasks.

What you'll do#

• Support home Chatham Athletics events by performing a variety of operational tasks.
• Assist with stat calling, playing music, operating cameras, and controlling videoboard graphics.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure successful event execution.
• Complete training to become proficient in assigned duties.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current student at Chatham University.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in sports.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability to work up to 20 hours per week.

• Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Part-time, paid position.
• Note: Student employees are limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week across all campus jobs and may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year. Appointments do not automatically roll over to subsequent academic years or summer terms.
